No exhibits may leave show until 7:00

 

Our show is run independently (in that it does not receive state fair premium prize money) but it is part of the Blandford Fair.  We are open to all artists, either amateur or professional.  We invite painters, graphic artists and photographers to exhibit and offer their original work for sale.  (No prints, only original pieces in graphics.)

 

There will be prize money awarded for first, second, and third place winners and a ribbon for fourth in the categories of (1) Oils and Acrylics, (2) Watercolors, (3) Prints and Drawings, (4) Color Photography, (5) Black and White Photography, (6) Digitally Manipulated, (7) Amateur or Beginners (this category is open to anyone who has less than five years experience).

 

We limit the number of pieces entered to six (no larger than 36 x 44 inches).  Amateurs or Beginners are limited to two pieces (no larger than 18 x 24 inches).  All watercolors, photographs, prints and drawings must be matted and framed – oils framed.  All work must be ready to be hung with wire – no saw tooth hangers or paper hooks.  In the event of over-crowding when someone has entered six pieces we reserve the right to eliminate from hanging a piece or two, but only after they have all been judged.

 

An exhibition fee of $4.00 is charged for each piece of work exhibited.  Works may be offered for sale at the request of the artist.  Anyone wishing to put extra matted pieces for sale in a rack may do so.  Pieces should be no larger than 24 inches wide and please have the price on the front of each piece in the upper right hand corner.  Also have a list of all items with prices ready to leave at the desk.  A 10% commission fee is charged for all works sold.
